-We had decided that Mayuri would die over and over again from worldline convergence, and there was the absolute goal of saving her. So at that stage, Mayuri was the heroine no matter how you looked at it.

But in creating the narrative flow that would lead to that point, Kurisu started to intervene. Even among the labmems, Kurisu is the one who has a viewpoint closest to Okabe’s.
